Threats and Conservation Status
Since this subspecies has been only known from the type
(deposited in Kyushu University), no comment is available
for its conservation and ecology. |
Remarks
This species has been well-known as endemic to the mainland
of Japan (from Yakushima to Hokkaido), therefore, some
authors have doubted if the type specimen of hanae was
actually an incidentally invaded individual from Japan.
(Tsurumaki, 2001) For further information see Chu (1967)
and Imura & Mizusawa (1996). In addition, the record
of this subspecies from Taipingshan of I-Lan County by
Yang & Huang (1993-4) may need further examination
of the voucher specimen. |
