外殼特徵 Shell solid, obovate, inflated with very full, high beaks.Epidermis normally shining, greenish, greenish-yellow orbrownish with broad, bright green rays. There are two,somewhat compressed pseudocardinals in the left valve, onein front of the other, the hinder high and having a triangularoutline, right valve with two compressed pseudocardinals.Nacre brilliant, silvery, bluish-white or sometimes abeautiful pink.
