全名 Plethobasus cooperianus (Lea, 1834) 英文俗名 Orange-footed Pimpleback Pearly Mussel,Orange-footed Pimpleback. 外殼特徵 Shell subtriangular, rarely suborbicular, subinflated, solid,inequilateral; beaks very high, rather full, turned forwardover a deep lunule. Surface with irregular growth lines;posterior two thirds covered with strong, irregular pustules;epidermis reddish-brown; pseudocardinals triangular, notgreatly roughened; lateral double in the right valve; beakcavities deep, compressed, muscle scars deep; nacre whiteor pink, thinner behind where it is often bronzy. 地理分布 Ohio, Cumberland and Tennesse River Systems, USA. 模式產地 Ohio River. 原始記錄 Unio cooperianus Lea, Tr.
