外殼特徵 Shell long elliptical, with the dorsal and ventral lines nearlyparallel, solid, subinflated, eith rather full, but not high.Surface tawny, rayless, with a thick epidermis. Left valvewith two stumpy pseudocardianls, and two laterals, rightvalve with one pseudocardinal, and one lateral, whichsometimes has a slight ridge at its inner base. Nacre whitish,at the border, rich coppery within, thinner and iridescentbehind.
