全名 Papustyla pulcherrima Rensch, 1931 英文俗名 Manus Green Papuina, Manus Tree Snail, Green TreeSnail, Emerald Green Snail. 外殼特徵 The shell is about 4cm long, and is an intense pea-greencolour with yellow band along the suture, which effectivelycamouflages it amongst the foliage in which it lives. Shell isconical in shape and dextral shell with 5-6 whorls. 地理分布 Manus Island, Admiralty Archipelago, northern PapuaNew Guinea. 模式產地 原始記錄 同種異名 Papuina pulcherrima Rensch, 1931 備註 This well known brilliant green tree snail is much soughtafter by collectors. It is endemic to the rain forest of ManusIsland, northern Papua New Guinea, and although notimmediately under threat is highly vulnerable to large scaledeforestation and possible over-collection (Wells et al.1983). This species was listed in the CITES Appendix II on1st July 1975. Papuina was also genus name.Photo-specimen was collected from Admiral Island, ManusIs. northern Papua New Guinea and inventory in ANSP309117。
